So, who is Volunteer Peach?

- I am a wife and mother of two sons who grew up in Atlanta (thus the peach) and now lives in Tennessee (which makes me a volunteer, I guess). I love Jesus, am addicted to the news, and enjoy reading historical fiction and nonfiction. Despite my teenage insistence that I would never need home economics or any of that girly stuff, I've found I enjoy cooking, quilting and sewing, making rag rugs, crafting and scrapbooking. I loved the idea of a volunteer peach tree because a volunteer plant just grows and flourishes unexpectedly where it hasn't been intentionally planted and I hope that's what I'm doing as I grow in Christ and stretch in lots of ways that are moving me out of my comfortable places.
